Our client, an established publishing group requires a top calibre and technically strong Finance Director to join their team and help drive this rapidly growing business through its upward trajectory.

Based in central London, the company is a well known business that provides both print and digital media marketing content to its wide array of clients.

The role includes but is not limited to:

• As the number one in finance, the FD will have full responsibility for managing and mentoring the finance team.
• The role will consist of a broad understanding of both commercial and technical accounting processes.
• Maintaining appropriate controls, forecasting and commercial analysis to ensure timely and accurate reports and accounts, ultimately supporting the business in achieving its objectives
• Maximising sales and margin opportunities by ensuring suitable and robust financial controls are maintained across the company

The Ideal Candidate

• Requires someone who is capable of enacting real transformative change within the finance function - to put systems, processes and controls in place which can aid the business achieve its next phase of growth.
• Prior experience working in a publishing or digital media environment.
• Understanding and overseeing the development of client relationships and their accounting processes.
• A track record of leading and coaching a team of financial professionals to guarantee the best possible outcome and growth.
• A fast learner that can quickly assimilate into the role, develop a full understanding of the Group's business.
• A clear communicator, an excellent relationship builder able to engage a broad and diverse audience. You will have proven experience challenging ideas and processes and developing best practice.
