A new opportunity has arisen within an established Manufacturing SME, an ambitious Finance Manager is required to provide direction and insight to support growth within the market. The organisation has an extensive history of producing diverse and innovative designs. This will provide an exciting opportunity to gain hands on experience in further expanding the company's presence in the industry.

Key responsibilities will include:

• The production of monthly Management Accounts as well as the preparation of statutory accounts
• Providing commentary and key insight to Senior Management to support the financial planning and decision making process
• Production of the budgeting/forecasting process
• Identifying areas to implement process improvements across the business
• Various ad-hoc responsibilities including Cash Management, Credit Control and VAT Returns

The ideal candidate will ideally be a qualified (ACA/ACCA/ACMA or equivalent) or QBE with previous exposure in managing a Finance Department. The role offers great responsibility in gaining hands on experience therefore you will be ambitious and motivated in achieving best results and implementing improvements. You will possess strong communication skills in order to build and maintain relationships internally and externally. Previous exposure within manufacturing is advantageous but not essential.
