Currently recruiting for a Finance Manager for a large corporate business based in Rugby.

Our client is looking for applicants that have attained a formal accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and has good achieved good educational qualfications (degree, a-levels) as a pre-requisite.

The role of Finance Manager within this business is to; drive effective planning, management reporting and profit improvement with non-financial stakeholders across the business, coach and develop the finance team to provide effective business partnering.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

- Building strong relationships with the director and senior management of the business unit to assist with the high level business plans to detailed operational and commercial solutions

- Produce periodic performance reports for each business unit with detailed commentary on variances and actions required

- Financially appraise investments and changes to operational procedures, to assess value for money

- Lead, direct and support the finance team to develop the financial awareness of the operational and commercial management teams and assist with the development of the current MI, KPI and flash reporting

Technical Skills & Knowledge

- Experience of suppporting, challenging and influencing at a senior level in a fast paced environment

- Demonstrate experience of working with operational non-finance managers

- Strong understanding of budgetary control, profit & loss accounts and financial reporting

- Experience of working with commercial acumen to evaluate business plans

This role is ideally suited to an individual with strong commercial finance experience that is looking to make the step up into management.
