Our Client
Our client at Marks Sattin, who are an established Retail business, have a fantastic opportunity available for a Finance Manager. The Retail business is an SME that are owned by a larger group company and are experiencing change, turnaround and growth.
The role
- Produce Monthly Management Accounts
- Produce Year-End Accounts
- Monthly and Yearly reporting to Group
- Produce cashflow forecasts
- Stock management
- Develop reports and make decisions based on the data
- Produce VAT returns
- Prepare Payroll
- Suggest system and controls improvements to help processes be more efficient
- Helping with transactional processes - Accounts Receivable & Payable
You will report directly to the Managing Director of the company and also an off-site Financial Controller. This is a hands on role within the department and something that you can put your mark on.
The Candidate
- Confident in managing, organising and overseeing all financial activities of the company
- Previous experience in a similar role - preferably with an SME background
- Ideally you will come from a retail multi-site background dealing with high levels of stock
- Being able and confident in suggesting change and improvements to processes
- Resilient, focused and analytical in your decision making
- Excellent Excel skills
