My client enjoys an envious market leading position, having achieved it over decades of growth. Recently they have embraced technology and grown both organically and through acquisition, resulting in a more diversified business that puts them in a position to further dominate their market. As finance operations manager manager you will report into the Senior Finance Manager, responsibilities to include: manager of the Cash & Bank, Purchase Ledger and Fleet teams, you and the team will be responsible for ensuring appropriate financial controls and processes are in place across operational areas of Finance to prevent impact on customers, the business and financial reporting. In doing so, manage the risk of misappropriation of assets through preventative controls, reconciliations and timely resolution of issues. You will be involved in many upcoming financial projects, many of which will begin once you are in situ as they relate to Expenses and Fleet. In addition you will provide associated control and operational process support to the business, enforce financial policy compliance, and manage key third party and stakeholders relationships within the Finance operations area. Ideally you will be a (newly) qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA) with proven track record of managing large teams and passion for providing excellent service and value add to your work. Exposure to Fleet and Financial projects would be a big plus. Experience of working in a larger company is very much preferred due to the size and complexity of the business and their structures, processes and controls. Genuine development opportunities beyond this role, over and above securing a very high profile role within the finance team.
