Start your job searchMarks Sattin are currently working with a leading Technology organisation to assist in the recruitment of a Finance Systems Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract, to manage a new finance system implementation.
Responsibilities;
- Identifying potential impacts of new initiatives / systems for Finance departments so that managers can respond to them on a timely basis.
- Provide direction and development to direct reports, managing performance and prioritising deliverables.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, to understand and meet their needs.
- Consult with senior management to understand business requirements and identify opportunities to speed up and simplify.
- Continually focusing on simplifying and improving processes.
- Understand proposed solutions and their potential impacts on Finance teams, ensure these are understood and provide challenge and action plans when they are not met.
- Plan and manage Finance impacts of new systems and processes, ensuring compliance with controls, provide challenge to ensure accurate and value add output of solutions.
Skills;
- CIMA, ACA or ACCA part or fully qualified, or qualified by experience.
- Knowledge of financial accounting, purchasing and management systems
- Significant systems, processes and financial understanding
- Working knowledge of document control systems and databases.
- Stakeholder management - the ability to build and maintain networks and create a common purpose across diverse teams
- An ability to deliver in a complex, fast paced environment
- Leadership skills - the ability to motivate, develop and coach others to succeed, or ability and desire to develop these skills.
- Excellent analytical thinking and excellent numerical skills
- Excellent Microsoft Excel or Google sheets skills
