Requirements:

• Experience of financial reporting standards and other regulatory requirements.
• Experience preparing accounts
• Relevant professional qualification
• Experience of technical accounting and taxation knowledge within an insurance company

Responsibilities:

• Take all reasonable steps to ensure adherence to all external regulatory, legal and industry obligations within the business area
• To demonstrate a positive risk and control culture through the active identifcation, assessment, monitoring and management of risks and controls within the business area.
• Ensure all expenditure commitments and all payments are properly authorised, controlled and monitored.
