Financial Accountant

My client a multi award winning financial services firm who are based in the heart of London are looking for a part qualified (ACCA/CIMA) Financial Accountant to join their team due to the continued expansion of the company.

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for assisting the Finance Manager in the daily finance tasks and implementing processes and improvements. This role will entail a broad range of responsibilities that may extend beyond the role within Finance.

The role will come with full study support package for ACCA/CIMA students and discretionary bonus.

Financial accountant duties:

• Take ownership of Management Accounts for the UK entity
• Preparation of client money reconciliations
• Preparation and posting of journal entries
• Assist in the preparation of Financial Statements (FRS101)
• Perform analytics on financial and non-financial information
• Monitoring and reporting cash flow
• Assist in intercompany transactions and reconciliations Assist in the accounts payable function
• Liaising with external Auditors at year-end
• Supporting the wider team with ad hoc tasks

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 months accounting experience
• Must have at least a 2.1 degree
• Minimum of C's at A-Level
• Must have experience within financial services
