A growing Brokerage firm with offices in the UK and Europe looking to recruit an ACCA-finalist accountant (or equivalent) to work directly with the Finance Manager in a role that will give you business-wide exposure and experience.

In this newly created position, you will work alongside another Financial Accountant (qualified accountant) in supporting the Finance Manager (ACA qualified) in providing support towards the continued growth of the business.

This is a hands-on role, with the finance manager looking to provide training towards SQL and Visual Basic (VBA), it's a position that would appeal to you if you're looking to move into Financial Services without any prior experience in this industry area.

Your Responsibilities:

- preparation of client money reconciliations (CASS rules)

- preparation of monthly management accounts

- preparation of yearly financial statements (under FRS101)

- preparation and submission of Regulatory Returns (FCA, CoRep, CMAR)

- performing analysis on financial and non-financial information

Your Requirements:

- Part Qualified ACCA or CIMA and studying towards completion of exams

- Sound knowledge of general accounting principles (IFRS or New UK GAAP)

- Experience in CFD or FX Brokerage preferred but not essential

- SQL knowledge a bonus
