Global Distribution business in High Wycombe is looking for a Financial Controller, who possess the drive and acumen to become Finance Director in 6-12 months. The business partners with a range of large brands and is a market leader within their chosen field and they've just produced a record year. The key purpose of this role will be focused upon maintaining and controlling all of the Company's accounting requirements to ensure cost effective management control and compliance with statutory requirements

• Preparation and interpretation of monthly financial accounts for the Financial Director
• Analysis and preparation of annual financial schedules and reports together with specific analysis and reporting as and when required or directed.
• Management and control of all cash and bank accounts supported by daily analysis reports and including control of all authorised Company credit cards
• Monthly close or supervision of all ledgers and distributing related reports to management
• Management and control of general overhead expenditure
• Completion and filing of quarterly and monthly VAT, GST, Intrastat and EC Sales returns.

To be considered for this role, you will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA equivalent), with experience of leading a small team. The business requires someone with strong communication skills and is eager to develop their career, as well as coach/ motivate the team.
