Marks Sattin are partnering with this exciting retail based organisation, who, due to an internal restructure, are currently looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead and develop their Finance Function.

This is a dual role where you will not only be responsible for the full financial operations for the business, you will also have the opportunity to work closely with Senior Management in terms of driving the business from a commercial angle, including new product channels and expansion into European markets.

More specifically you will be responsible for the following :-

• Lead, manage and develop the finance team members.
• Weekly and monthly management accounts.
• Assisting in business strategy to drive business growth.
• Analysis of company performance, identifying and tracking KPI's.
• Working alongside the directors on the yearly budgets.
• Ownership of the stock check system.
• VAT Returns.
• Liaising with external auditors.
• Create processes, efficiencies with the finance team.

This is an excellent position for a Qualified Accountant who not only wants to maintain control of a Finance function including day to day staff management but also have a real input into the commercial development of a growing business. A candidate from a retail/FMCG background would be of particular interest.
