A privately owned food wholesaler based in North London is currently seeking a Financial Controller to join it's team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to work for a growing medium sized business.

Reporting into the Company Directors your main responsibilities would include preparation of timely and accurate management accounts; liaison with external auditors the preparations of the annual financial statements; liaison with the external tax advisor for the preparation of the annual Corporation Tax computations and returns; annual budget preparation and monthly revision of forecasts; detailed setting of sales and gross margin targets for the individual members of the sales force and monthly reporting of actual performance against target; supervising a team of 3 people (sales/purchase ledger).

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant. Experience of working within a wholesale business would be advantageous but no means essential.
