Role: Group Reporting Accountant / Financial Controller

To play a key role in a lean and productive finance function whilst working closely with the Director of Corporate Finance,

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the financial reporting at exec level (inc. consolidated P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and variance analysis
• Preparation of statutory accounts
• Oversee prep and submission of VAT returns
• Take lead on audit and risk
• Manage a small team
• Review monthly results to ensure accuracy and provide insightful narrative
• Support managers outside of finance to understand financial information that will benefit or effect their role

Requirements

• A qualified accountant currently working in industry
• Experience working in manufacturing or similar industry experience would be ideal
• Good interpersonal skills
• Experience managing a small finance team
• Strong IT skills including Excel and finance software
