Financial Modeller - Energy & Renewables.

If you have an interest in Renewable Energy and Infrastructure from an Investment perspective, then this opportunity may well be for you.

Working with a renowned global firm you will work across Investments from including M&A activities focused within the Offshore Wind Energy markets from a Corporate Finance perspective with a strong focus on Financial Modelling.

Some of the Key aspects of the role are as follows:

  • Design, build and maintain highly complex financial models for Offshore wind projects including:
  • Project finance debt-sizing and optimisation
  • Valuation of renewable energy assets, scenario, and sensitivity analysis & general analysis of cash flows.
  • Ability to sense check a financial model quickly and succinctly to ensure outputs are reasonable to make quick and informed commercial decisions.
  • Ability to challenge those providing inputs to ensure an accurate representation of the risks and rewards is prepared and presented.
  • Developing and running equity and lender-case scenarios
  • Take responsibility for managing the model input / assumptions process.
  • Contribute towards commercial negotiations and provide critical analysis of assumptions included within such models, highlighting potential efficiencies / risk areas on acquisitions, investments, disposals & associated funding activities.
  • Support and lead commercial aspects of bid delivery.
  • Lead engagement with lenders and equity, constantly seeking to achieve best in market terms.



We are seeking a strong Financial Modeller/Valuations analyst who has gained at least 3 years' experience in a Financial Modelling/Valuations role, ideally with Energy, Renewables, or Infrastructure experience however we are sector agnostic in terms of the background, the technical Modelling experience is key.
