Start your job searchMarks Sattin are currently working with a rapidly growing service provider based in Hull for the role of a financial operations associate, you will report to our Financial Operations Manager and work closely with the Finance accounting teams, and broader operational teams. Key tasks include making sure all processing is reconciled, any rejects are resolved timely, outgoing merchant funding is completed daily, all operational back-office changes are completed with SLA's. You will join a highly motivated team and be part of a growth business working with colleagues who care about our customers.
For this role, they will pay up to £28,000 and the role is based in the office.

Key responsibilities:
- Support finance in daily reconciliation of all processed transactions
- Work any rejects from internal or external platforms on a timely basis
- Complete bank reject investigations and work with Risk on any updates to platforms for holds and releases of funds
- Ensure that all daily merchant funding is completed, and any rejected payments are processed within SLA
- Achieving your KPI's to provide our customers with the highest level of customer service and support
- Working on systems such as Salesforce, Microsoft Excel and other software to support our processes and customer base

- Utilise your experience of reconciliation and processes to ensure resolve issues, concerns, or escalations.
- You will be highly organised, pro-active, and have a can-do approach to getting the job done, with great communication skills to all audiences
Skill/Technical:
- Microsoft Excel and other related software
- Financial and/or accounting qualifications would be desirable
- Background in financial operations, within a payment's environment preferable, will be key to your success
