Harrogate
Reporting to the Financial Planning and analysis Manager, this role will support the planning and delivery of the annual budget. You will also work on the quarterly forecasts as well as the provision of accurate and insightful management reporting to the executive team and to group.
You will also support the Manager in preparing consolidated reports, budgets, forecasts and in improving information reports.
Duties
- Work as part of a team to provide high quality, accurate and timely financial analysis and information
- Prepare, analyse and report periodic accounts
- Support the prep of monthly management accounts
- Prepare the budget and forecasts
- Business partner management teams to gain a wider understanding of the business
- Support the forecasting and reporting tender income and other revenue schemes
- Develop, deploy and maintain weekly finance tracking tools to enhance the MI
- Liaise with the Financial Accounting team to support the production of cashflow forecasts, intercompany accounting and statutory accounts
- Support the FP&A Manager with any ad-hoc project work as required
Experience required
- Part qualified or latter stages of qualification Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA or equivalent)
- Broad business understanding and a proven track record in a management accounting or FP&A role
- Ability to work in a high pressured, fast paced culture
- Good interpersonal and influencing skills at all levels of the organisation
