Responsibilites:

1. Staff Management - responsibility for the accuracy and timeliness of the team's output ensuring the team is adequately developed by setting objectives, agreeing personal development plans, conducting regular 1-1's and providing feedback and acts as a role model for staff.
2. Client Management - responsibility for the provision of a proactive Financial Reporting service to clients, understanding the service requirements of all clients. The encumbent will always seek to partner with clients and develope workable solutions that are in line with company policy.
3. Service Delivery - primary responsibility for ensuring that Financial Reporting deliverables are consistently delivered in an accurate and timely manner. Responsible for high standard of service delivery to clients within agreed timeframes. Maintain excellent client relationships.
4. Control Environment - Ensure adherence to internal and external policy and regulation. Ensure all errors, breaches or client incidents are reported in line with current procedures.
5. New Business and Strategic Planning - Support the identification and cultivation of expanded business potential with existing clients through regular client interaction and assist the Relationship Management organisation in responding to new business opportunities.

Requirements:

• Management experience
• IFRS and US GAAP exposure
• Part Qualified/ Qualified Accountant.
• Adaptability, focus, determination and flexibility are all key skill requirements.
• Experience of Funds is essential
• Good experience of complex systems, spreadsheets and databases
• Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
• Ability to work on own initiative in high pressurised environment and to tight deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
