Start your job searchA global telecommunication company based in Central London is currently seeking for a motivated Financial Reporting Manger to join their growing business. You will be providing hands on approach to respond to technical and operational accounting queries as well as manage a team of four accountants. As the Financial Reporting Manager, your main responsibilities will be to provide monthly management reporting for 4 Operating Companies, monthly commentary and explanations on trends in the performance as well as review of the balance sheet reconciliation for reporting the team (120 Accounts). Moreover, you will be responsible for the collection of team performance for KPI reporting against SLA's and monthly multi ledger reconciliation- local GAAP to IFRS.
Candidate requirements:
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) ideally with first time passes
- Advanced MS Excel for reporting VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS, Pivot tables etc
- Previous big 4 experience advantageous
- Exposure to analysing large volume data sets, ideally in the Financial Services industry
- Demonstrable competence in analysing processes and implementing improvements to increase the quality of the work and reduce the risk around the process, specifically in relation to Balance Sheet Control and Reconciliation of Accounts.
- Experience using a financial reporting consolidation system eg. Cognos, Hyperion
