A leading multinational asset management firm is looking for an ambitious, high calibre newly qualified accountant to join their team as fund accountant. This exciting opportunity will allow you to develop within a global, stable business where you will gain deep industry expertise whilst playing a significant role within the fund of funds team.

Day-to-day the right candidate will be:

• Coordinating the production of daily, weekly and monthly NAVs by reconciling the company's fund valuations with the administrators
• Investigating and solving valuation issues, significant price fluctuations cash breaks and trade capture issues; responding to ad-hoc queries from administrators and preparing reports for both internal and external parties
• Obtaining internal sign-off portfolio valuations and returns from the portfolio management team on a daily basis
• Participating in ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives
• Liaising with senior stakeholders and the front office

The ideal candidate for this role will be a motivated, ambitious newly qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with a strong academic record. Having dealt with investment management/ asset management clients at a big 4 firm is also desirable.
