Fund Controller - Manager - Real Estate (12m contract)


We are pleased to be partnering with a well known closed ended real estate investment fund, who are seeking a Senior Fund Accountant (Manager) for a 12 month fixed term contract.

The salary for this role is in the range £70,000- £80,000 + a strong benefits package and holidays.


This is a management position, where you will be responsible for overseeing other fund accountants and in charge of the reporting and control of 2-3 property funds. It's also a great place to work.

Responsibilities:
- Financial Control of accounting data relating to the real estate funds and providing consolidations
- Managing and developing 2-3 fund accountants
- Preparation of the drawdowns, distributions and liquidity management for the funds
- Production of the NAVs
- Prepare investor reporting packs
- Prepare VAT schedules
- Assisting with fund financial statements
- Liaising with the property managing agents, the transaction suport team, tax, legal and auditors

To be considered for this role you must:
- be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, CAANZ, ACCA, ACMA, CPA etc.)
- have at least 3 years of experience in real estate fund accounting
- strong knowledge of close-ended investment funds
- some management experience would be useful
- Be able to start within 2-4 weeks
