One of the most exciting household brand names based in South Yorkshire is currently recruiting for an Group Audit & Risk manager to take on the role for a period of 12 months. Working very closely with the CFO and support of a team, this is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the strategic direction of the business as you will be client facing ensuring processes, procedure as well as controls are established.

The role is a head of role and will lead the development and delivery of an embedded risk management process and a company-wide compliance framework, both of which will support a fully integrated risk and assurance strategy
Within the role you will be responsible for:-

• Undertaking operational audits across the business as well as suppliers
• Ensure findings are reported and any developments are implemented.
• Planning, organising and delivering supplier audits where you will prepare terms of reference, working papers and reports.
• Reviewing systems processes and controls to ensure findings and recommendations are implemented.

Ideally you will have experience working in a consumer based business (FMCG/Bluechip/Retail/PLC) and environment; however this is NOT a pre-requisite. You will be qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CISA OR IIA with proven Internal Audit experience and have the ability to engage with senior management and stakeholders. You will be playing a crucial role in the strategic deliver of the audits and ensure that quality is maintained.
