Leading PLC is currently recruiting for a Group Finance Manager who will have the ability to manage a large team that is technical very strong. Working in this exciting environment, you will gain excellent exposure working closely with the senior FD's across the group and provide the wider business with your thoughts on the figures.

Within the role you will be responsible for:-

• Group Reporting and Management Accounts teams and associated outputs.
• Review of submission of consolidated results and disclosure to plc. Includes "actuals", "balance sheet budget/cash flow" and "balance sheet forecast/cash flow".
• Drive process improvements across Management Accounts and Group Reporting team
• Take responsibility for year end/half year planning and budget planning
• Organise Decision Support/Finance debriefs/month end feedback.
• Responsibility for overall compliance with accounting policies and procedures and management representation letter.
• Audit of completion accounts for disposals and acquisitions.
• Management of restatement of the results (including internal accounting policy changes) in line with plc requirements.
• "Second in command" in absence of Financial Controller.
• Review of balance sheet reconciliations.
• Co ordination of auditors

Ideally you will be fully qualified (ACA or ACCA) and be confident in your technical ability. You will have a proactive approach and have the ability to review the numbers with a top down approach coupled with an analytical mind set.
