Start your job searchOne of Ireland's largest listed businesses, a leader in its field with offices all over the world is looking for a globally mobile Group Financial Reporting Accountant to join their Group financial control team in County Kerry.
You will be responsible for the management and delivery of the interim and annual Group financial statements and also review and consolidate year end files as part of the Group consolidation process. As part of this role, you will become an expert in the Group consolidation tool.
In addition to this you will research and resolve technical accounting issues including the evaluation and implementation of new accounting pronouncements (IFRS/Irish GAAP/UK GAAP) and will be involved in Group projects including acquisition accounting, disposal accounting, intangible assets accounting, group reorganisations, process improvements etc.
This role will require the successful candidate to be globally mobile within 12 to 24 months and will provide an ambitious and dedicated professional the building blocks to a career with an exciting organisation that is genuinely interested in developing it's people.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a qualified accountant with exposure to large PLCs and Group structures as well as strong technical knowledge (IFRS) and will demonstrate excellent communication and analytical skills with a determination to progress their career beyond this role.
