A leading FTSE 100 media business based in Central London is currently looking for a Newly Qualified ACA accountant to join as a Group Financial Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant looking for their first move out of practice!

Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, your responsibilities would include the preparation of annual and half year reports; provide technical IFRS accounting support to divisions within the company; review of technical accounting developments under IFRS and communicating it throughout the group; driving improvement in processes and controls; ad-hoc assistance with projects including acquisitions; support the monthly consolidation close.

The successful candidate would be a newly qualified ACA accountant, with knowledge of consolidations, IFRS and experience of having audited PLC businesses. Strong communication skills are essential as you will be speaking to Divisional Managers and Senior Management on a constant basis.
