An innovative PE Backed technology business is seeking an ambitious Group Financial Controller to partner the CFO and play a key role in leading the continued growth and success of the business. The business operates in a rapidly evolving and changing market and provides a crucial service to businesses within the sector. You will be supporting the business through an ambitious period of planned growth, as such this is a highly important role within the business.

You will have full responsibility for the day to day running of the finance function, including the management of a small team. With excellent communication skills you will be able to build strong relationships internally and externally. As Group FC you will have responsibility for improving the business's board packs and providing accurate and timely financial information and analysis to support major strategic decision making across the business. This role has a broad commercial remit, and you will be supporting decision making and reviewing bids and contracts, as well as playing a crucial role supporting the business through a period of planned M&A.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA), preferably chartered, having qualified in a top tier accountancy firm. You will have a background as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager or similar in a related business, the client will also consider ambitious candidates looking to make a late move from practice. With excellent attention to detail and a strong ability to communicate at all levels both within and outside the organisation in order to build and maintain key relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly ambitious candidate to grow their career, and work closely with a highly-experienced and well-regarded CFO in a private equity environment.
