An exciting new role has arisen with my client, a diverse group of companies involved in manufacturing, with a turnover in excess of £150m. They are currently recruiting for an outstanding individual to join the team as Group Financial Controller

Responsibilities will include:-

• Ensure that accounting transactions are recorded accurately in line with the relevant accounting standards and that reconciliations are available and reviewed for accuracy
• Monthly consolidation of the business unit accounts
• Ensuring that financial timetables are strictly adhered to by all finance staff
• Responsible for effective cash controls including treasury and working capital management to ensure the Company operates within its bank facility
• Produce a weekly and month end reporting pack for departmental managers and the board
• Development of a pro-active finance team that become business partners to budget holders, identifying waste and opportunities
• Production of the year end accounts, liaising with the Company's auditor and tax advisers and banks
• Management of financial risk
• Production of financial reports for external stakeholders

The ideal candidate will be degree qualified and ACA Qualified, preferably from a Manfuacturing Background, and have experience working within an group environment. Experience in working in a turnaround environment or financially challenging environment is important
