A global FTSE250 company based in West London is currently seeking for a motivated Group Financial Reporting Manger to join their growing business. You will be providing hands on approach to respond to technical and operational accounting queries as well as manage a small team of accountants.

The role is a highly visible position in charge of annual consolidated accounts and the monthly management reporting packs, enabling you to interact with senior leadership within the finance community and operating business units. It is anticipated that the successful candidate with be a Chartered Accountant with demonstrable experience in international reporting standards, accounting and audit ideally gained in both a practice and commercial environment.

With oversight for a small team and taking ownership of numerous relationships, you will have responsibility for head office accounting, monthly management reporting packs, preparation of accounting papers and technical memos to ensure that the group finance team operates as a best in class function. As well as core accounting tasks, there will be significant opportunity take part in ad-hoc project work such as systems development, process and control improvements, as well as partnering with the operational teams on transaction related queries.

As a qualified Chartered Accountant you will have post qualified experience in multi-currency consolidations, IFRS reporting and the commercial nous to apply this in a fast paced environment.

A FTSE 250 business based in West London is currently looking for a Group Accountant to support the Head Office finance team.

You will be reporting into the Group Reporting Manager abd will take responsibility for supporting day-to-day operation of a range of group financial and management accounting matters. This is a high profile role with exposure to board level directors and senior finance professionals across the organization.

Key responsibilities

Group Reporting

  • Lead the monthly multi-currency consolidation of the group results and forecast
  • Prepare the monthly consolidated Flash report
  • Liaise directly with the divisional and business unit finance teams
  • Assist with preparation of the monthly management accounts and Board reports
  • Assist with preparation of the interim and year end annual reports
  • Liaise with the external auditors
  • Undertake consolidation system report writing and data analysis

Budgeting and Strategic Planning

  • Assist the Group Reporting Manager in the budget and strategic planning processes
  • Prepare interest, non-operating charges, EPS and net debt calculations
  • Prepare the group budget documents for the board
  • Review the Head Office budget and strategic plans with the Head Office accountant

This is an exciting opportunity for an ACA (or equivalent) qualified accountant with a deep understanding of the technical aspects of accounting, who is considering their first move away from Practice or had already one year in industry.
