A Construction company based in central London is currently seeking an interim Group Accountant on a six month contract. The individual will be responsible for the consolidation of the annual statutory accounts and the production of monthly group management accounts. The role will report into the Group Controller and be responsible for reporting both to senior management and the board. The successful candidate will be a qualified ACA or equivalent with a strong academic background with robust technical reporting knowledge. Experience using SAP is a prerequisite for this role.

Requirements and responsibilities:

• Prepare consolidation of the Group's month end accounts and the preparation of the month board packs.
• Responsible for the production of these monthly and annual reports in accordance with IFRS.
• Producing in depth analysis of group budgeting and forecasting.
• Liaise with both internal and external auditors to provide accurate statutory accounts.
• Strong Consolidations experience of multiple entities and foreign currencies is a prerequisite
