A leading retailer is now looking for a Group Management Accountant to join its team - the role having arisen due to the consolidation of finance into a head office function here in Leeds and an expansion of duties and responsibilities as a result. This is a great opportunity to gain experience within a very well-known business steeped in history and heritage, themselves part of an even more successful wider group who are cash rich, acquisitive and very supportive as the parent co. You will be working closely with the Head of Finance and take full ownership of the monthly management accounts for multiple divisions, compilation of consolidated accounts, providing key P&L information and will be focused towards the Budgets and Forecasts; cost centre reporting analysis, performance reporting and other KPI reporting. With a combination of high level of responsibility and hands on exposure, you need to have previous experience within a role or have aspirations to move into such a role and be confident at tackling issues at all levels including getting into the detail. You will be liaising with various layers of senior management across all businesses, and will be required to provide commentary and analysis on the Budgets to Actual figures.
