A PE backed, tech business based in London is currently seeking a Group Reporting Manager to join their fast-pace team.

The role will be responsible for managing a small team, as well as the following responsibilities:

  • Management of month end processes and monthly reporting.
  • Development of the reporting packs and providing commentary.
  • Cash flow management and forecasting.
  • Supporting, motivation, development and management of team of 3 qualified accountants.
  • Preparation of the statutory accounts for Group and subsidiaries
  • Leading on the year-end audit process with quarterly reviews.
  • Management of the preparation of the year end Consolidation
  • Drafting of accounting position papers and ensuring compliance.
  • Business partnering with other divisions in the business including legal, IT and HR.
  • Assist in initiatives to develop and monitor Group financial policies controls.
  • Assist in corporate development work for contract bidding and acquisitions.
  • Involvement in implementation of new accounting system and continuous improvement of processes.
  • Support senior stakeholders and the wider team with technical accounting issues and ad-hoc projects
  • Additional ad-hoc duties, reporting and project work.

This role is best suited to a qualified Accountant, preferably ACA from big 4 or similar. Candidates will have had experience leading and managing small team, with pro-active nature and an organised work approach. You should be a fast learner, with strong people skills, who can adapt quickly to the company's operating environment. Experience working in a group reporting function in industry rather than straight from practice is highly desirable, with strong accounting technical expertise - staying up to date with changes (IFRS, FRS101 and FRS 102 required), also with consolidations experience.
