Start your job searchSeeking a Head of Finance to lead finance, governance, risk and control management activities for a recognised brand. Based in Central London, this is an international focused role for a leader seeking to make a difference within fast paced and acquisitive global business.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead on the division wide implementation of best practice, new standards, and continuous improvement
- Design and implement approaches that drive improvement across finance
- Act as chairman for the Finance Risk Governance forum
- Provide coaching and support to the business on key strategic initiatives and change programmes
- Build relationships with all relevant stakeholders across the business
- Use best practice global frameworks to co-ordinate changes within business units
- Provide support in identifying gaps and remediation when required
- Oversee CFO Risk report - inc. regular reporting on Finance & Governance risk and controls
- Develop dashboard reporting on key finance and governance risks and opportunities
- Provide a key point of contact for assurance providers
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Relevant Project Management Qualification (e.g Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Prince II)
- Adaptable to change
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and management skills
- Skilled in problem solving and decision making
- Initiative and desire to do more than is expected
- High calibre financial understanding and commercial awareness
