Commercially orientated and career rewarding opportunity for an experienced individual to join a commercial property business in a pivotal leadership position. The firm are boutique in size with an expanding book of business and significant investment from a well known parent company. They have a number of niche products in the market and are well poised to continue expanding at break neck speed.

This role is a newly created position heading up a small finance team with responsibilities as follows:

* Oversight of all finance activities in a fast paced, high volume environment. This will include management of all month end reporting, financial, statutory, regulatory, treasury and management accounting.
* Review, commentary and analysis on the final numbers as opposed to too much hands on prep work.
* Support the CEO and COO with value adding business intelligence and management information. Currently there isn't a huge amount in place with a need to increase the quality and quantity of decision support finance provides.
* Leadership of a small finance team of Qualified and PQ accountants.
* Key point of contact across a number of projects related to systems, process, change enhancements.
* Support to the CFO as their 'right hand person'.

Your background:

* Experience in the real estate or property sector at Finance Manager, Financial Controller, Head of Finance level is essential given the technical nature of the role.
* Qualified accountant with a decent amount of PQE that has covered pretty much everything in finance (or equivalent).
* Clear evidence of having worked in a business partnering role, supporting commercial decision making.
* A team player with plenty of drive, ambition and a creative mindset.
* Proven staff management and leadership skills.
