Head of FP&A

Do you love working within an international environment? We currently have an exclusive partnership with our client that is looking for a Head of FP&A. Our client specializes in providing smart, sustainable water solutions. They have multiple offices around the world with a headquarter in the United States. For this position you will work in Venlo, The Netherlands. You will report directly to the CFO in the United States. You will have 3 direct reports in your team so it's essential that you have a good management- and coaching skills.

The role

You will lead the financial processes for full P&L and balance Sheet business analysis, forecasting and budgeting. You have a very good and deep understanding of the economics and profitability drivers across the company for critical products and clients and clearly communicate them to the team.

Key tasks:

  • Business Leadership Advising: You will advise and support them with financial analysis, including profitable growth initiatives, portfolio management, pricing analysis and new product development. You will work with business leadership to develop long-term capital investment plans, evaluate en present ROI, guide prioritization of business requirements;
  • Modeling Financial Impacts: You will support management in modeling financial impacts and outcomes as requested
  • Review and Analytics: Month-end product category financials needs to be reviewed and analyzed. You will manage the development of the quarterly forecast and annual plan from financial system entry to management presentations;
  • Managing a team of 3: You will manage 2 project controllers and 1 pricing analyst. You will coach and develop these teams and make sure to initiate and adapt to develop their performance;
  • Improve key processes: You will guide the team to standardize and improve key processes and reporting and provide exceptional support to respective business partners;
  • SIOP Processes: You will engage in and manage this process;

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, Accounting or Economics;
  • At least 6 years of experience as Head of FP&A or something similar;
  • Experience within a project organization or manufacturing industry;
  • Experience within an international environment;
  • Knowledge of Project Control and stakeholder management
  • Recent experience with SAP, Excel, and Power BI;
  • Experience with under performance and high performance management;
  • Fluent in English
  • Available for 40 hours a week;
  • Open to travel abroad every quarter to one of the other offices;

Offer

  • Annual gross salary of €90.000 - €120.000;
  • 38 Holidays;
  • Hybrid working: 2 days a week from home;
