An exciting role has become available at one of the UK's well known and respected charities. The Head of Group Finance & Audits will have operational responsibility for the Finance Department, and line management responsibility for the finance team of 5 people.

You will provide the lead in the production and development of management/financial accounting and reporting and will provide guidance and advice on all operational finance matters to colleagues across the organisation.

The required individual will also have the skill and knowledge to develop existing (and implement new) financial systems to benefit of the charity.

Furthermore you will have had previous experience of running a small finance function including payroll, PAYE, NIC, VAT, Payments, banking arrangements, accounts preparation and audit and other accounting transactions, adhering to proper controls and processes.

• Financial/Management Accounting
• Budgeting/Forecasting
• Statutory Accounting/Reporting

This is a great role for a Qualified Accountant - ACA or ACCA and/or equivalent that also has knowledge of SORP/SOFA, charitable finance regulations and key strategic finance reporting.
