Initial 6 month contract - West London - £450-£550 a day
As an Implementation Manager, your skill in implementation planning, organisation of implementation readiness and change management will be critical for supporting business colleagues and customers to understand, be ready for, and excel in new ways of working aligned to the ambitious and exciting Global Infrastructure and Digital Workplace programmes.
You will be credible, resilient, enthusiastic and engaging with a strong background in managing business implementation of end-user technologies. Experience in large scale transformation programmes with significant technical component would be helpful, but the emphasis is on ensuring a great experience for colleagues participating in business change.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of implementation planning and readiness for upcoming projects
- Ensure great colleague change experience from technology deployments
- Apply the Change Management approach and plans during business implementation
- Work with the Global Implementation Manager and work-stream project managers to plan, align and generate detailed implementation plans
- Ensure that a Business Change Impact Assessment is prepared for every deployment
- Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders
- Working with the Programme Communications Lead, ensure an approved communications plan is in place
- Ensure training plans and materials are in place, relevant to the technology being deployed
- Manage implementations, resolving or escalating related issues
- Manage transition of training, change and communications materials to technology and business teams post go-live
Essential Skills & Experience
- Significant diverse experience in technology implementation management.
- Illustrate competent knowledge of change frameworks and approaches
- Experience in designing and delivering implementation plans using Change Impact Assessment outcomes
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project
- Experience of facilitating physical/remote workshops with audiences of 5 to 25 business colleagues onsite
- Team player with business and customer mindset
- The ability to prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines
- Change management experience involving people, process and technology implementation, leveraging new technology to drive best practice business process and embed the desired culture
- Consult and coach project teams to integrate change management activities into project plans
- Support & engage senior leaders and manage other key stakeholders
- International travel may be required
