Global leader in financial services is seeking an Information Security Officer to join their experienced Information Security Team. In the last 10 years this business has experienced rapid transformation and growth in its operating remit through several major acquisitions. As the Information Security Officer, this position will have an EMEA scope and will sit within the London office. This is a great opportunity for a senior Information Security professional to join a market leading business who view security with the utmost importance.

Responsibilities:

• Create new security policies and recommendations for the business to ensure compliance with all security standards and frameworks.
• Liaise with relevant stakeholders in order to educate and prioritise security as a key value for the business.
• Work closely with the Head of Information Security for the ISO27001 external audit.
• Deputise for Head of Information Security and act as highest point of escalation for security issues
• Conduct risk assessments of the entire business security process, procedures and guidelines

Requirements:

• Previous experience as either Information Security Officer, Head of Information Security, CISO, Deputy Head of Information Security, Information Security Director, Cyber Security Director or similar.
• Strong knowledge and experience of maintaining security standards and policy's.
• Understanding of multiple security areas such as infrastructure, network, risk management.
• Ability to lead security awareness presentations to senior leaders and stakeholders within the business.
• A relevant certification such as CISSP, CCISO, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, CEH CISA or similar.
