Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a hugely reputable family owned business in East Yorkshire. This company has fantastic heritage and strong values from top to bottom, there is currently a need for an Interim Financial Controller for one of their leading divisions due to maternity cover. Although this is a temporary need for initially 10 months there is great potential for longer term opportunities as the business continues to grow substantially both organically and through various acquisitions.

This role will directly report to the Finance Director and is responsible for overseeing the day to day activities of the finance department and ensure the production of accurate financial accounts and other information together with assisting management with commercial decision making. This will be an all encompassing role with a small team of 4 underneath looking after the transactional duties such as purchase and sales ledger. Along with the day to day finance duties is imperative you provide financial support to Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement and Commercial teams.

As the successful candidate you will be fully qualified with previous manufacturing experience ideally in a similar family owned environment. It is important you have strong technical ability with exposure across statutory accounts production but equally capable of business partnering the operations finance team.
