Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a prestigious family owned business in the heart of Hull city centre, East Yorkshire. This newly created high profile role is focussing purely on the 3-5 year strategy for the business.

As the Interim Financial Modeller you will be working very closely with the SLT including the Commercial Finance Manager, Transformation Director and Board of Directors. In this position you will take the lead on devising, implementing and executing new financial models to be rolled out across the group.

Although this is initially a 3-4 month contract it is highly likely this will turn into a longer term role as it will be a crucial part of the business growth strategy moving forward.

The responsibilities will include the following:

• Develop, define, organise, plan and execute a pricing capability to support all divisions across the Group.
• Collation, analysis and modelling of data to develop a pricing model and optimise revenue for the Group.
• Ensure that the output from the modelling is embedded in the business and reflected within the divisional forecasts and 3 year plans.
• Support the development of business cases for new/enhanced products.
• Work with the senior stakeholders (Group CFO, Managing Directors and Finance Directors) to define the scope and options to deliver the required outcomes.
• Develop and maintain effective senior stakeholder engagement with Group stakeholders and the wider business to ensure effective, support & delivery of the desired outcomes.
• Demonstrate creativity, innovation and ethical thinking in applying solutions.
• Be an ambassador for Group Finance/Transformation and contributes to further maturing of the function.

In order to be successful in this role you must have extensive experience in financial modelling, pricing and/or data analytics. It is an advantage to have worked in large complex and fast paced environment such as FMCG/retail.
