A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an interim Head of Financial Shared Services to join a well known FMCG business in East Yorkshire. The role is a 12 month contract to start in January 2016. You will be managing a team of circa 20 with 3 direct reports and you will be responsible for providing day-to-day Management to the MDM, Payroll, T&E, and Accounting team in Hull, focussing on workload prioritisation, capacity management, guiding problem solving and issue resolution

You will be tasked with the following:

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of service for all MDM, Payroll, T&E, Accounting processes from the Hull, UK Shared Service Centre, ensuring that Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Levels (SLAs) are monitored and attained
• Provide leadership and guidance to MDM, Payroll/T&E and BuySell Accounting Managers, enabling them to lead their teams effectively and to resolve issues
• Constantly monitor and seek to improve SSC service delivery performance
• Lead the team through a knowledge management project, ensuring the documentation of all processes operated within the SSC

The role requires a fully qualified accountant who has previously worked in a Shared Service Centre or who has managed large teams including A/P, A/R and credit control. You must be able to demonstrate an ability to interact with and challenge key stakeholders so as to achieve results.
