A leading client based in Leeds is currently looking at expanding the team and is recruiting for an Assistant Internal Auditor. Working within the Audit and Compliance team, you will be reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, delivering Risk based audits across the business.

The business over the years has shown continued success and is now entering a period of resource growth. Within the role you will:

• Provide assurance that the business is following all external regulations and internal policy and procedure.
• Evaluate and provide independent assurance to the Board and Senior Management, on the effectiveness of the organisation's risk management, governance and internal control processes.
• You will also facilitate the delivery of the annual audit plan through independent completion of audits (end-to-end)

Ideally you will have around 2 years' experience working in a risk and compliance based role. You will be a self-starter and have an understanding of risk management.
