Marks Sattin is working with a business based in Yorkshire who are recruiting for a Internal Audit Manager to support an exciting client.

Within the role, whilst there will be little to no man management, you will be key in managing the co-source arrangement as well as any guest auditors that support the function.

With the transformation currently on going, the ability to implement and review new controls and communicate the benefits will be crucial in taking the function forward.

In the role you will:

• Plan and conduct internal audit reviews to identify significant risks and recommend value added controls which balance cost/benefit to the business.
• Monitor and comment on the risk and control environment through attendance at operational and compliance meetings
• Undertake constant review of the key KPI's to ensure the timely issue and close out of reports
• Participate in confidential reviews and investigations when the business requires.

Ideally you will be fully CIMA, ACA, ACCA or IIA qualified and have experience of risk based auditing. You will be comfortable working autonomously and have, over your career, developed commercial management experience and business acumen.
