We have a fantastic new opportunity available for an Auditor to join our progressive, dynamic and high performing audit team, part of the Wal-Mart Global audit team spanning over 20 countries. This role will see you operating within one of the region's leading Audit functions and acting as a strategic business partner to the Asda business.

With the unique position and scope that the Internal Audit team has within our business, you'll be perfectly placed to gain excellent commerical view of the business.

The ins and outs:

• Conducting risk-based audit and advisory work across all areas of the business including trading, operations, finance, multichannel and business transformation programmes.
• Identification and assessment of current and emerging risk areas and supporting the development of the overall audit plan.
• Building and maintaining key stakeholder relationships.
• Primarily based at the Asda Home Office but opportunities to travel to stores, depots and other sites across the UK and beyond.

What you'll need:

• Ideally a Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant through a recognised professional body (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc.)
• Previous experience working within an Audit role
• Experience of working within practice (ideally big 4) would be advantageous although not essential
• Integrity and credibility
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
• Proven track record for getting things done on time and to a high quality
• Commercial awareness
• Technically sound assurance expert - ideally will also have good experience in delivery of value-add advisory work
