Marks Sattin are working with an expanding Independent Accountancy Practice as they look to expand their International offering.

Over the next few years they aim to expand their already growing international business operations by widening the scope of current services they offer to our existing client base. Their current client list already includes client's that are based in the Middle East. Their plans involve further business development to increase their overall presence in the Middle East. We are seeking a special individual with the requisite skills to drive our plans forward.

Basic Requirements

You must have excellent commination skills and the ability to liaise with senior members of staff on strategies to improve existing services to clients. You must also have the requisite communication skills to succinctly and persuasively put across your own sales and marketing ideas.

You will ideally have a basic understanding of international business affairs and the ability to pitch their bespoke services to potential clients. Your knowledge and skills will ideally involve a basic understanding of the various types of investment opportunities available in the UK. You will be required to pitch details of those opportunities to potential clients in and outside of the UK and will therefore need to possess a professional and confident manner at all times.

The right candidate will ideally have experience in dealing with High net worth and Ultra high net worth individuals from the Middle East. Candidates without that experience will need to show how they would be comfortable dealing with such client's individual requirements as well as their high service expectations.

Given that this role relates to business development in the Middle East language is a key factor and our expectation would ideally be that the successful individual will be fluent in English, Arabic as well as other language(s), such as French. Possessing these language skills would clearly assist the successful candidate in their proposed role.

At present they have a number of Middle East clients who are actively involved in the UK property and construction sectors therefore a working knowledge and some experience within this field would be a distinct advantage.

The successful candidate must be able to identify new opportunities for business development. They will be responsible for the management of those new accounts and will be required to provide detailed analysis on how we can positively promote our brand and sales whilst maintaining and enhancing the Hentons reputation.

Experience in business development within the international business community is desirable.

Some international travel would be required.

Salary and other working conditions

- Salary dependant on experience but to include performance bonus;

- Working ours being 37.5 per week, normal office hours however some flexibility required due to client requirements being in different time zones;

- contributory pension scheme also available and would be matched on a 1:1 basis with any employee contribution

Reporting Structure

The individual will report directly to the managing partner who is responsible for the day to day management of the Middle East based clients.

Any business development plans will be discussed directly with the managing partner and/or other senior members of the partner group.
