Job Title: Legal Counsel | 12 Month Contract | Dublin | €65,000 - €70,000 per year

My client, based in Dublin, are currently recruiting for a Legal Counsel to join their business on a 12 month contract basis. The successful candidate must have funds law experience and they will provide legal advice to the business in Dublin, Luxembourg, London, Jersey and Guernsey.

This candidate will be required to take responsibility for providing legal advice and support to the business in Dublin, Luxembourg, London, Jersey and Guernsey, including the drafting and negotiation of agreements. This person will be required to work with the business to improve client on boarding by providing legal support for new business matters. They will also need to be able to provide advice and support to the business in relation to the implementation of new laws and regulations. They will not be required to complete any company secretarial work. They will also be involved in continuous projects such as GDPR and the Beacon offshore.

Requirements:

• Funds Law or Common Law experience is essential
• Strong legal experience within financial services, funds or asset management is essential
• Specialist in Irish Law is desirable
• Experience in an international institution
• Exposure with commercial contracts
• Degree in Law
