Management Accountant

Wilmslow

£35,000 - £40,000

My Wilmslow based client are looking to bring in a Management Accountant to their team on a permanent basis, reporting into the Finance Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the business with the annual audit process.
  • Prepare the quarterly VAT return.
  • Preparation of month end results including the month end files, journals, accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis and commentary.
  • Assist with the production of the cost centre reporting packs and variance analysis for the business.
  • Monthly bank reconciliations - with daily maintenance.
  • Reconciliation of credit card spend.
  • Preparation of weekly bad debt reports.
  • Preparation of monthly commissions.
  • Support with insightful reporting and ad-hoc analysis/projects.

Requirements:

  • Part Qualified (Working towards ACA/ACCA/AAT)
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Previous experience within a Management / Assistant Management Accountant role.
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages, with a strong focus on Excel.
  • Ability to generate and maintain sold working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
