Responsible or their European region which generates over £3bn and employs over 10,000 staff, you will be reporting into the head of reporting who leads all commercial finance and reporting functions.

The role requires a reliable, confident and pro-active person, who can assist the process of continuous improvement in relation to management information and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Producing monthly and quarterly management and financial reports
• Reviewing trial balances prior to accounts consolidation
• Responsible for preparing audited accounts at the year-end.
• Responsible for timely completion of year-end audit process.
• Intercompany recharges
• Carrying out income reconciliations and sample checks of the financial reports
• Supporting the preparation of the accounts for the annual audit and financial report
• Supporting and coordinating the financial budgeting and reporting process
• Assisting with general administrative support and various queries

Essential Qualifications, Skills, Experience, Attributes and Key Relationships:

• Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) - 2-4 years post-qualification experience.
• Experience with inter-company allocation/recharging mechanisms
• Experience of using an ERP system (Sage 50 equivalent) and assisting with project implementations.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Any other language is an advantage
• Team spirit, entrepreneurial instincts and creative mind-set
• Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise workloads
