A fast-growth manufacturing business based in the Manchester area are looking to make an addition to their expanding finance function in the form of a newly-qualified Management Accountant. The company has doubled in turnover in the last few years and is expected to grow considerably again this year. Strong academics and a progressive career history are a must, along with a hungry and passionate attitude towards your work, and a work hard play hard mentality. Responsibilities of the role will include:

*Adhoc exposure to the board of directors, where you will business partner from a financial perspective in the provision of commercial analysis and information that will be pivotal to board level decision making.
*Producing daily commercial management information for the wider business.
* Proactively reaching out into the business, developing relationships across all teams at all levels, and assisting the business in continuously reducing costs and improving profitability.
*Providing daily figures and cost saving initiatives on all overheads and logistical operations.
*Proactively seeking out opportunities to progress and take on more responsibility.
*Working with a level of autonomy.

The ideal candidate for this role will be an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified/finalist accountant looking to make a move in to an progressive company where you can realistically progress to a Financial Controller level within the next 2-3 years. You will have regular exposure to the board of directors so a confident and enthusiastic approach to your work is essential.
