Marks Sattin are working alongside one of the most innovative businesses in North Yorkshire. The role of Management Accountant is critical to the overall running and performance of the Finance team. You will be in charge of managing the ledger and financial performance of the division as well as providing business insight to management teams. The Management Accountant will Support the Financial Controller in the day to day running as well as completing other duties such as:

• Production of weekly profit outlook/tracker
• Monthly VAT Reporting
• Month end accounts preparation
• Reporting to tight deadlines
• GRNI reconciliation
• External stores reconciliations
• Commission and rebate calculations and accruals
• Fuel stock reconciliations
• Prepayments and accruals
• Fixed asset register maintenance and reporting
• Produce period management accounts pack
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Tax Pack expenditure analysis
• Intercompany reconciliation and postings
• Utilities recording & KPI reporting
• Weekly overheads review
• Weekly reports & analysis
• Maintain profit forecasts
• Provide commentary on weekly/month end position
• Support FC in the Budget and Re-forecast process
• Develop/improve budgeting and forecasting processes
• Maintain Business & Financial Controls Framework
