A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Management Accountant to join a well-known business at their manufacturing facility in the Northamptonshire area.

In this very hands on role, you will be supporting the delivery of site transactions and processes supporting the overall strategic objectives. You will simplify finance for colleagues to deliver finance and business performance. You will ensure that your thinking is customer first in all aspects of your role.

You will be:

  • Continually focusing on streamlining and improving processes.
  • Partnering the business to build budgets for key financial metrics.
  • Planning and managing the process, ensuring complying with operational and financial controls throughout and reviewing and challenging to ensure accurate output.
  • Participating and/or leading projects based on providing expertise and support for improving business processes and procedures.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with stores and internal customers, to understand and meet their needs.
  • Consulting with managers to understand business requirements and identify opportunities.
  • Being proactive in identifying financial risks and opportunities for departments so managers can respond to them on a timely basis.

Ideally you will be qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) having also previously worked at a site based manufacturing facility. You will also need to have the ability to build and maintain a network of contacts and create a common purpose across diverse teams as well as excellent analytical skills and a sound knowledge of financial and management accounting.
