A well established Financial Services institution is looking to expand its Cheshire-based team in the form of a contract MI Analyst (SSRS Report Writter) to help get the organisation up to speed on a back log of work. Initially a 3 month assignment; the suitable candidate will need to be comfortable with working across multiple business lines and creating reports for each of those. Required experience for the role will include but will not be limited to:

-Ability to construct efficient T-SQL queries.
-Ability to interpret complex queries, troubleshoot and resolve report performance issues.
-Knowledge of data warehousing methodologies - Kimball, Inmon.
-Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce professional reports / dashboards in line with user requirements.
-Knowledge of SSRS components:

• Tables, Matrices, Lists, Charts, Maps.
• Filtering, Grouping and Sorting of data.
• Drill-through, Drill-down, Sub-reports.
• Building Expressions.

The ideal candidate for this role will have prior experience of similar assignments within a Financial Services/Banking environment. High-level SQL skills are essential, and a working knowledge of SSRS components are hugely advantageous. For further information please apply below.
